A boat reported SE of Whale Is with an engine problem and requested a tow back to Whakatane. 6 POB. There was an outgoing tide, 1 meter swell and a 13kt wind from the North. Whakatane Rescue was tasked to assist and the boat was towed back to Whakatane.
