Engine problem – 03/18/2018 – 13:49 to 15:49

A boat reported at the west end of Whale Is with the motor trimmed up and jammed in that position and requested assistance.  An All Stations call resulted in a boat responding and taking the vessel under tow back towards Whakatane.  Whakatane Rescue was tasked to tow the boat over the bar and all boats arrived safely back in the harbour.  A big thank you to the Good Samaritan.
