Steering problem – 03/04/2017 – 11:20 to 11:36

At 1120hrs a boat off Kohi Pt with 2 POB reported a steering problem and requested a tow back to Whakatane.Sea conditions were good with a slight sea,low swell and a S wind of 3-6kts.An All Stations call was made which resulted in a boat responding and towing the vessel back to Whakatane.Both boats were safely back in the harbour at 1136hrs.A big thank you to the good samaritan.
