Motor problem – 01/29/2017 – 14:21 to 15:07

At 1421hrs a boat with 2 POB reported East of Whale Island with a motor problem.Sea conditions were good with a NNW wind of 5-8 kts and no swell.Another boat heard the call and offered to assist.A successful attempt was made to start the motor and both boats arrived back in the Whakatane harbour at 1507hrs.A big thank you to the good samaritan.
