Motor – 10/31/2015 – 8:55 to 16:12

0855 – 1140hr.  A 4.75m aluminium boat with two POB called for assistance east of the Mussle Farm because the motor had failed to start.  Weather conditions were good with a 3kt wind from SSW and calm seas.  GPS coordinates were provided by the boat. Whakatane Rescue with a crew of three was tasked to assist and rendezvoused with vessel. Both vessels were safe back at the boat ramp at 1140hr.
