Motor – 05/11/2015 – 15:00 to

A 6.1M aluminuim boat reported that they were returning from White Island but were having motor problems and could only proceed at 4kt.  Whakatane Rescue was tasked to meet them.  At 15.40hr Whakatane Rescue was on scene about 12nm off Kohi Point.  The boat was taken in tow and both vessels were safely back in port at 16.15hr.
