A 6m boat called for assistance with overheating motor 2km east of Kohi Point.  Two POB.  Sea conditions and visibility were good with no significant swell. Whakatane Rescue was tasked to assist and after some searching found the boat 5km east of Kohi. The boat was towed back to Whakatane.
