At 1018hrs the skipper of a boat reported being towed by another boat to Ohiwa but will require a tow over the bar.The conditions were good with a SSW wind of 4-6kts and a calm sea.Whakatane Recsue was tasked to complete the tow and both boats were at the Ohiwa boat ramp at 1201hrs.A big thank you to the good samaritan.
