Fuel problem – 01/29/2017 – 13:53 to 7/02/2017

At 1353hrs a boat with 3 POB off Matata reported a fuel problem and requested assistance.Sea conditions were good with a NNW wind of 5-7 kts and no significant swell.Whakatane Rescue was tasked to assist and at 1447hrs took the boat in tow.Both vessels arrived safely back in the harbour at 1535hrs.
