Engine problem – 21/06/2025 1642 to 1800 (24)

A boat with 3 POB and 1 dog reported halfway between Whale Is and the Whakatane Bar with an engine problem and requested assistance. Conditions were good with a light wind, slight sea and an outgoing tide. Whakatane Rescue II was launched and towed the vessel back to Whakatane.
