Engine problem – 11/28/2019 – 12:49 to 14:10

A boat at the Eastern end of Whale Island reported an engine problem and requested assistance. Another boat heard the call and offered to help.The stricken vessel was towed to just outside the Whakatane bar where Whakatane Rescue was tasked to tow it over the bar back into the harbour. A big thank you to the Good Samaritan.
