Engine problem – 11/22/2017 – 13:25 to 15:00

At 1325hrs the skipper reported at the Bubbles (South of Whale Island) with an overheating engine and requested a tow back to Whakatane. 6 POB.   An unsuccessful All Stations call resulted in Whakatane Rescue being tasked to assist.  Conditions were good with a slight sea and a NW wind of 11-15kts.  The boat was located and both vessels arrived safely in port at 1500hrs
