Engine problem – 11/07/2025 1046 to 1510 (26)

A boat off Brians Beach with 4 POB reported an engine problem and requested a toe back to Ohiwa Harbour. A boat responded to an All-Stations call and towed the vessel to outside the Harbour but wasn’t happy with towing the boat across the bar. Whakatane Rescue II was launched and towed the vessel back to Whakatane. A big thank you to the Good Samaritan.
