Engine problem – 09/12/2018 – 15:28 to 16:22

A call from the police advised that a boat had struck rocks at Otarawairere and was drifting.  2POB. An All Stations call resulted in 2 boats responding and Whakatane Rescue was also tasked to assist.  The boat was located and towed back to outside the bar.  Whakatane Rescue towed the boat safely back across the bar.  A big thank you to the good samaritans.
