Engine problem – 06/11/2017 – 9:35 to 10:15

At 0935hrs a boat at the 13m mark off Kohi Pt reported an engine problem and requested a tow back to Whakatane: 2POB.  An “All Stations” call was unsuccessful so Whakatane Rescue was tasked to assist.  Sea conditions were good with an outgoing tide and a SSW wind of 5kts.  Both boats were back in the harbour at 1015hrs.
