Engine problem – 04/19/2017 – 12:36 to 12:54

At 1236hrs a vessel reported an engine problem off the Whakatane Bar, requesting a tow , 2 POB.  “All Stations” resulted in Port Whakatane responding.  Sea conditions good, outgoing tide, and 4-7 kts wind from the NW.  A successful tow back to Whakatane at 1254hrs.  Thank you to Port Whakatane.
