Engine fire – 28/12/2025 1138 to 1238 (45)

A boat off Waiotahi Sands reported an engine fire. Whakatane Rescue II dropped the tow it was doing and responded. The problem was a hose on the engine. Whakatane Rescue II towed the vessel back to Whakatane.
