Electrical problem – 08/05/2017 – 9:36 to 11:33

At 0936hrs a boat in Boulder Bay at Whale Is reported an electrical problem, requesting assistance.  3 POB.  An unsuccessful All Stations call resulted in Whakatane Rescue launching.  Sea conditions were excellent with a 4-5kt wind from the SSW and no swell.  The boat was located and taken under tow.  Both boats were safely back in the harbour at 1133hrs.
