A boat reported at White Is with an engine problem and requested assistance. Whakatane Rescue was tasked to assist and towed the boat safely back to Whakatane.

A vessel returning from Waihau Bay back to Tauranga ran out of fuel SW of White Is. Whakatane Rescue delivered fuel to the stricken vessel and accompanied them safely back to Whakatane.
