Broached on Whakatane Bar – 01/30/2018 – 10:22 to 10:45

A boat was observed broaching on the Whakatane Bar.  1 POB.  There was an outgoing tide with a 9-11kts wind from the North.  Whakatane Rescue was tasked to assist, the vessel taken under tow and both boats arrived safely back in the harbour.
