Battery problem – 11/25/2017 – 9:18 to 13:31

At 0918hrs a boat reported at Volkner Rocks White Is with a flat battery and requested assistance  4 POB.  An unsuccessful All Stations call was made so Whakatane Rescue was tasked to assist once it had completed the previous incident.  Sea conditions were good with a calm sea and a SE wind of 2kts.  The position of the boat was later updated to Club Rocks at White Is.  The boat was located but a jump start was unsuccessful so the boat was taken under tow.  Both boats were safely back across the Whakatane bar at 1331hrs.
