Battery problem – 03/09/2023 – 16:50 to 20:00

A boat reported at White Island with a flat battery and requested assistance. Whakatane Rescue II was tasked, located the vessel and gave it a jump start. Both vessels proceeded back to Whakatane. However, on the way back, the battery failed again on the boat. Whakatane Rescue II towed it safely back to Whakatane.
