Battery – 12/19/2015 – 8:11 to

A 5.5m white boat with 5 POB reported that it needed assistance because of a flat battery. The boat was 0.5nm East of Whale Island.  It was not in immediate danger and they would remain fishing until assistance arrived. Weather conditions were reasonable with 0.5m swell and 10kt wind from SW. Two good samaritans offered assistance and the battery problem was resolved. At 0944hr the boat reported that it was safe back in port. Many thanks to the good samaritans.
