Battery – 10/07/2015 – 11:19 to

A call was received from a 4.6m aluminuim boat with 2 POB.  The boat reported a flat battery at the 20m mark off Ohope Charter Club.  Sea conditions were good with 5kt SW breeze and little swell. Whakatane Rescue was tasked to assist and arrived on scene at 1211hr.  The boat was stated using a portable power pack and returned to port under its own power.
