A boat reported west of the Raurimus with an engine problem and requested assistance. The call was heard by another vessel who offered to help. The stricken boat was located and towed safely back to Whakatane. A big thank you to the good samaritan. 

A boat north east of Whale Is reported loss of power and requested assistance. Whakatane Rescue was tasked to assist, located the vessel and towed it back safely to Whakatane. 

A boat reported 1nm North of Kohi Pt with a fuel problem and requested assistance. Whakatane Rescue took fuel out to the stricken vessel. 

A boat reported by phone 9 kms North of White Is with an electrical problem.The boat could proceed under its own power but Whakatane Rescue was tasked to assist and accompanied the stricken vessel back to Whakatane due to the nature of the problem. 

A boat reported at the radio masts with an overheating engine and requested assistance. Whakatane Rescue was tasked to assist and towed the boat back across the Whakatane bar into the harbour.
