A boat reported North of the Ohiwa Bar with an engine problem and requested assistance. Whakatane Rescue was tasked to assist, located the boat and towed it safely back across the Whakatane Bar. 
 

A vessel east of Whale Is reported hydrolic failure and requested assistance. Another boat heard the call and provided Coastguard with the GPS position of the stricken vessel. Whakatane Rescue was tasked to assist and towed the stricken boat back to Whakatane. A big thank you to the good samaritan. 

A vessel at the Mussel Farm reported an engine problem. Whakatane Rescue responded and towed the boat safely back to Whakatane.

A boat 1nm west of the Whakatane bar reported a fuel problem and requested assistance. An All Stations call was made and a vessel offered to help. The stricken boat was towed back safely across the Whakatane bar. A big thank you to the Good Samaritan. 

A vessel at the Mussel Farm reported steering failure and requested assistance. Whakatane Rescue was launched and proceeded to the scene. The stricken vessel was towed back safely to Whakatane.
