A boat reported at the Mussel Farm with an engine problem and requested a tow back to Whakatane. Whakatane Rescue II was tasked to assist and towed the boat back safely to Whakatane. 

A boat reported off Kohi Pt with a fuel problem. Whakatane Rescue II was tasked to assist and the stricken vessel made its own way back across the Whakatane Bar. 

A boat reported outside the Whakatane Bar with a steering problem and requested assistance. Whakatane Rescue II was tasked to assist and towed the boat back safely across the bar. 

A boat at the Mussel Farm reported an ignition problem and requested assistance. The call was heard by another vessel who offered to help. However, Whakatane Rescue II was already in the area so was tasked to assist. The stricken vessel was towed back safely to Whakatane. A big thank you to the good samaritan. 

A vessel ran aground on the Ohiwa Bar and requested assistance. Whakatane Rescue II responded and towed the stricken vessel into Ohiwa Harbour and safe haven.
