The skipper of a commercial fishing vessel advised he had a sick crew member on board  and requested assistance. Whakatane Rescue II launched, located the boat ,transferred the crew member and returned safely back to Whakatane.

A boat reported South of the Raurimus with an engine problem and requested assistance. Whakatane Rescue II was tasked, located the vessel and towed it safely back to Whakatane.

A vessel off Opape reported engine problems and requested assistance. Whakatane Rescue II responded and towed the boat safely back to Whakatane.

A vessel East of Whale Is reported a flat battery. Whakatane Rescue II was tasked  and provided a jump start. Both vessels returned safely back to Whakatane.

 A vessel outside the Whakatane Bar with a steering problem requested assistance.Whakatane Rescue II responded and towed the boat safely back across the bar.
