A boat reported off the Thornton Bar with an engine problem and requested a tow back to Whakatane  Whakatane Rescue II was tasked and towed the boat safely back across the Whakatane Bar.

A boat reported 500m off the Whakatane Bar with an engine problem and requested assistance. Another boat offered to help and towed the vessel back across the Whakatane Bar. A big thank you to the good samaritan.

A boat reported at the Raurimus with a flat battery and requested assistance. An All Stations call resulted in a vessel responding. The battery was jump started and the stricken boat returned to Thornton. A big thank you to the good samaritan. 

A boat reported off the Whakatane Bar with a fuel line problem and requested assistance. Another boat offered to help and towed the vessel back safely across the Whakatane Bar. A big thank you to the good samaritan.

A boat reported at White Island with a battery problem and was arranging purchase of a new battery. Whakatane Rescue II delivered the new battery to the boat which proceeded on to Tauranga. Whakatane Rescue II returned safely back to Whakatane.
