A boat was observed aground West of the Whakatane Bar Whakatane Rescue II assisted the vessel and towed it safely back across the Whakatane Bar.

Engine problem. – 10/09/2022 – 12:20 to 12:50

A boat reported off Kohi Pt with an engine problem and requested assistance. Whakatane Rescue II was tasked and towed the vessel back safely across the Whakatane Bar.

Engine problem – 10/09/2022 – 11:20 to 12:20

A jetski reported 1km off the Ohiwa Bar with an engine problem and requested assistance. Whakatane Rescue II was tasked and towed the jetski back safely across the Whakatane Bar.

Engine problem. – 10/08/2022 – 5:43 to 6:30

A boat reported off the Whakatane Bar with an engine problem and requested assistance. Whakatane Rescue II was launched and towed the vessel back across the bar.

Yacht run aground. – 09/18/2022 – 19:30 to 21:00

A yacht was reported aground to the west of the Whakatane Bar. Whakatane Rescue II was tasked, pulled the yacht clear and towed it safely back into the Whakatane Harbour.
