This camera has been supplied by the Whakatane Coastguard
and is providing continuous recorded coverage of the river
entrance as part of the Whakatane town 'Crime Cam' system.The
video is available on the internet 24 hrs a day.The frame
rate may vary depending on your internet connection and the
number of users.
These images will only give you an indication of the conditions
you might find at the harbour entrance. You are advised to
check for yourself and if in doubt consult the Duty Coastguard
operator.
